The Location - This property is positioned in a residential street in Shoal Bay. Although situated in a quiet location just out of town, guests can still visit a selection of easy to reach destinations just a short distance away. Stunning Shoal Bay Beach and an array of restaurants, cafes and boutique shops are only 1km away. Here you can hire kayaks and Stand Up Boards or join a Kayak tour (which are available September to May, weather permitting) You can also hire a bicycle in Shoal Bay as there are many bike tracks leading either towards Nelson Bay or to Fingal Bay. If you would prefer to head into the National Park to enjoy the areas native plants and wildlife then there are plenty of walking tracks accessible just 1.5km for the house. Also a short 1.7km away is the gateway to the remarkable Tomaree National Park with walking tracks leading up to the summit to enjoy spectacular views over Port Stephens. Fingal Bay is 2.5km's away and Nelson Bay which is the bustling main town of Port Stephens and offers a great selection of eateries, shopping and offers many Dolphins and Whale cruises, tours, aquatic hire and plenty of entertainment.
The House - This house allows you space, freedom and privacy from a home away from home, perfect for a large group or two families, 58 Horace is your next holiday destination. The house is two storey, entering into the house you will be greeted with a separate carpeted lounge room with a comfortable three seater, two seater lounge and a leather arm chair. The room features a flat screen TV which offers Netflix. Continuing through an arch way is a separate carpeted dining area offering an extendable dining table seating up to nine, here you can access though sliding glass doors to a small narrow court yard with an undercover verandah area offering an out door setting and a gas BBQ. Neighboring through a door is the kitchen with extra space for the little ones to run around and another access to the court yard complete with floating floorboards. The well equipped kitchen includes a dish washer, microwave, fridge/freezer, a wall mounted oven and a glass stove top. Branching off from this area is the laundry, with front loader washing machine, iron and clothes line and also conveniently offers a toilet and shower. Also on the ground floor is the fifth bedroom which houses two single beds.
The stairs lead up to the four other beautifully appointed bedrooms and the main bathroom (a security gate is available for the stairs to keep the youngest guests safe) All the bedrooms are carpeted. The main bedroom offers a queen size bed and an ensuite with a toilet, vanity and shower. the other three bedrooms offers another queen bed in one, a double bed in the other and the last bedroom upstairs has a single bed and a port a cot (no linen is provided for the cot). The main bathroom is a three way bathroom with a separate toilet, vanity and a bath/shower.
