4WD enthusiasts can access Stockton Beach for a swim in the ocean or drive the full length of the beach past the Signa Ship wreck, with towering sand dunes on one side and the Tasman Sea on the other side (Approx. 32km). Visit the port between mid-May and mid-November when the humpback whales migrate up and down the east coast or visit our friendly local bottle-nose dolphins who call Port Stephens home.
