Jaguars, Outriggers, Women Who Sail and Trailerboats... all in the next two weeks.

There is always something happening in Port Stephens, things to do, things to see, sporting events, social events, festivals. Over the next two weekends we will see quite a mix of Jaguar owners, female sailors, outrigger canoe paddlers and trailerboat fishermen and women.

This Friday to Monday (24th to 27th March), there is the Jaguar National Rally 2017. With the theme 'Jags prowling Port Stephens,' there will be an estimated 300 Jaguarphiles and their cars in the area. On Saturday 25th March there will be 200 Jaguars on display (along with markets, food stalls and displays) at Fly Point Park, Nelson Bay. Well worth a look. Click here for more information.

From Friday 31st March to Sunday 2nd April the Club Marine Trailerboat Fishing Tournament will be held. Now in its 24th year this tournament attracts hundreds of keen fishermen, women and children and their trailer boats, fishing for bream, flathead, drummer, mulloway, tailor, snapper, marlin... 'Women Who Sail,' is also on from 31st March to 2nd April and is three days of presentations (17 presenters), social gatherings, yoga and a welcome to Sail Port Stephens (which is then held from 3rd to 9th April). Held at various locations around the bay (and on the water), click here to find out more.

And, on Saturday 1st and Sunday 2nd April the Port Stephens Outrigger Canoe Club are hosting the 2017 OC6 State Titles at Shoal Bay. Mens, women's, mixed and junior races will be held over the two days, along with a presentation dinner. Click here to find out more.

After these events we also have Sail Port Stephens, closely followed by the Easter school holidays!
