We are looking forward to our last long weekend before October and there will be lots of activity around the Bay. Naturefest is currently on and the Blue Water Country Music Festival is also about to kick off. Add to this the whales that are currently passing right by in large numbers and you will be struggling to fit everything in over three days.
Naturefest Port Stephens runs from 1 June to 13 July 2016 and is over a month of walks and talks, cruises, interactive displays, photography, music and even a Human Whale event. A lot of the activities are also free of charge, so rug up and get out and about. To view the program of activities click here
On Saturday (11 June) the annual Blue Water Country and Blues Music Festival is also beginning. This festival runs for three days (until Monday) and includes music, boot scooting, line dancing, bush poets and markets. Artists include Troy Kemp, 4Highwaymen - A Tribute, The Blues Bombers, The Big Bang... For the full program click here
After a wild weather weekend last week, we are expecting a mild weekend coming up. So, throw on a jacket and get out and about! We sure will be.
