The Location -This unit is located in the lovely Fingal Bay. If you want to get away from the crowds and unwind in a peaceful area then this is the place for you. Fingal Bay offersa magnificent surf beach only 350m from unit (which ispatrolled), Kiddies Corner beach, ideal for small children to swim anda boat ramp to launch your vessel. Thepristine white sandy beachleads up past the surf lifesaving club upto the famous Fingal Spit. The spit can be crossed at low tide (with caution, check times with surf club) to view the ruins of the outer lighthouse residence. At the southern end of the beach you will find Barry Parklookout where you can watch Humpback Whales migrate northfrom Mid May to August and south from August to mid November with theirnewborn calves. Restaurants, the Surf Club cafe, take away shops, a garage service station and great pathways for walking and bike riding are all at your fingertips. There is a great off leash dog exercising area at the foreshore reserve. Shoal Bay is just 3.5km away and Nelson Bay is a short 6.5km drive.
