The Location - This holiday house is located in a quiet cul de sac surrounded by National Park. There are plenty of bush tracks that weave through the National Park and they start right on your door step, just head to the end of the cul de sac (100m away). Although situated in a quiet location, 4 Dirigeree Street is only 1.5kms from Nelson Bay. Nelson Bay has a selection of boutique shops, restaurants, cafes and bars. There is plenty of entertainment at the D'Albora Marina in the school holidays and it is the gateway to all the dolphin and whales watch cruises and other aquatic activities. If you are a keen golfer then the Nelson Bay Golf Club is only 1.5km away, the 27 hole championship golf course, in a natural setting with native trees and flora, and is home to an abundance of wildlife including kangaroos. There is a lovely Bay beach with calm waters for swimming about 2km away called Dutchmans Beach.
The House -This neatly presented home is on two levels. Natural polished floorboards flow throughout the property, Entering on the ground floor you are welcomed to an entrance hall with stairs to the upper level, internal access to the single lock up garage, laundry/second bathroom featuring a top loading washing machine, shower, vanity and toilet. There as also a large bedroom on the ground floor with a double bed and two single beds, a split system air conditioner and a large wall mounted flat screen TV.
Continuing through the house up the stairs is the main living area. You are greeted by a comfortable lounge area with two 3 x seater leather lounge, a large flat screen TV and another split system air conditioner (Please note: the fire place is not for guest use) . Adjacent to the lounge area is the light and airy open plan dining area and well equipped kitchen including dishwasher, full fridge/freezer, microwave, wall mounted oven, 2 stove burner and a large 4 slice toaster.
The other two bedrooms are on this level also, both with double beds, mirrored sliding built in robes and pedestal fans. The fresh modern bathroom has a shower over a bath, vanity and toilet. At the front of the house on this level is a little sun room to escape for some solitude and relax with a book on the day bed. Heading to the back of the home is a paved veranda over looking the National Park with shade, table and chairs and a BBQ.
There is plenty of parking at this property, a single lock up garage, driveway and plenty of grounds the the side of the house to park a large boat.There are definitely smoke alarms at this property.
