With over 140 bottlenose dolphins calling Port Stephens home, you can watch out from the convenience of your balcony for their antics. From May to November, the waters off Port Stephens play host to the magnificent migrating humpback whales so take a hike up Tomaree Headland about 250 meters away for a sighting.
On your bike - Shoal Bay is a great place to explore by bike! From rugged mountain biking along coastal tracks to family friendly cycle paths. Bring your own, join an organised tour or hire a bike once here.
